Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how TUCKR89 LLC (“NudgeBack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the NudgeBack mobile application and this website. NudgeBack is designed as a privacy-focused, local-first productivity and reminder application. No NudgeBack account is required to use the app.

2. Information NudgeBack processes

NudgeBack processes task titles, next-step text, reminder times, repeat settings, quiet-hours settings, reminder limits, reminder-style preferences, sensory and reduced-motion preferences, pause state, purchase-entitlement state, device timezone information and local notification scheduling information as needed to provide app functionality.

3. Information stored locally

Task information and application preferences/settings are stored locally on the user's device. NudgeBack currently does not provide a NudgeBack cloud account or backend service for syncing this information.

4. Notifications

NudgeBack uses the device's local notification capabilities to schedule reminders and notification actions. Notification delivery may depend on device permissions and operating-system behavior. Notification data used by the app is processed on-device.

5. Timezone information

NudgeBack uses the device timezone to schedule reminders at the intended local time. This information is used for reminder timing and is not currently sent to a NudgeBack backend.

6. In-app purchases

Where a lifetime upgrade is offered, purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing infrastructure. Apple or Google may process purchase-related identifiers, account information, transaction data and payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies. NudgeBack does not receive users' complete payment-card information.

7. Information NudgeBack does not collect

NudgeBack currently includes no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no NudgeBack cloud/backend service. We do not currently collect task contents, app preferences, reminder history, location history, contact lists, advertising identifiers or browsing activity on our servers because the app does not currently operate such servers for these purposes.

8. Third-party services

The app may interact with Apple App Store and Google Play for app distribution, purchase processing and platform services. Your device operating system may also process notification and backup information. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Data sharing

Because NudgeBack currently keeps task and preference data on-device and does not operate a cloud backend for it, we do not currently share that app-created local content with advertisers, data brokers or analytics providers. Purchase-related information may be transmitted to Apple or Google as necessary to process store transactions.

10. Data retention

Locally stored application information generally remains on the device until you edit or remove it, clear the app's local data, or uninstall the app, subject to normal operating-system backup, restore or platform behavior. Purchase records may be retained by Apple or Google under their policies and legal obligations.

11. How users delete local data

You can remove individual tasks within the app. You may also delete app-created local information by clearing the app's local storage through device settings where supported, or by uninstalling NudgeBack. Operating-system backups or restored device data may preserve or restore some information according to your platform settings.

12. Security

We design NudgeBack to minimize transmission of user content by keeping core task data local to the device. No method of storage or software operation is completely secure, and device security also depends on your operating system, device configuration and access controls.

13. Children's privacy

NudgeBack is a general productivity application and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly operate a service intended to collect personal information from children. App-store age requirements and parental controls may apply.

14. International users

If you use NudgeBack outside the country where the developer is based, platform providers such as Apple or Google may process transaction or account information in other jurisdictions under their own policies.

15. User privacy rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide rights regarding personal information. Because NudgeBack currently does not maintain a cloud account or server-side task database, many app-data requests can be handled directly on your device by viewing, editing or deleting local information. 16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as NudgeBack changes. We will revise the last-updated date when changes are published. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or store listing where appropriate.
